I never thought about that while reading the parable I had only focused on Jesus calming the sea. The apostles are trying their best to keep the boat afloat and not perish and all the while Jesus is asleep on a cushion in the stern of the boat.

I dont know how but I know He will. The disciples and we often interpret Jesus sleeping as his not caring Mark 438. He was always there.
